The
Main Hermitage Dome

The main
building was originaly built by Swami Kriyananda as a dome for his primary
residence. Later, it was remodeled to add a library, sun room, large
dining hall and kitchen, and two apartments.
The view
from the deck is breathtaking.
Walking
down the steps to the main building we find the Buddha overseeing our
journey.

The main
dome area is often used for special events at Ananda. Holidays find village
residents congregating for dinners, parties and special meditations, as
the vibration is very deep and peaceful.
