Your question actually has two parts and therefore needs two answers. First, has Swami Kriyananda found liberation? There are different stages of liberation. In the jivan muktan state, you have advanced to the stage where you acquire no new karma, but may have residual karma from the past to overcome.

Swami Kriyananda doesn’t ever talk about his own spiritual attainment or level of samadhi, though many people do wonder! The last few years he’s frequently commented that he is feeling deep bliss at all times. So that may be a hint.

At the moment, if you are in Pune, India, there is a great chance to meet Swami Kriyananda. He is living there in an apartment complex with other devotees until his house is built on land that Ananda Sangha has purchased.
