Answer

Dear Friend,

The attempt to “prove” or “disprove” the existence of God has raged for millennia. The Indian scriptures even have a sloka that says “God cannot be proved.”

Only consciousness can intuit consciousness, for God surely must not be limited to any place, or time, shape, name, form, definition, emotion nor any limitation incribed by the intellect.

In the peace of meditation, the existence of God can be known as ever-existing, ever-conscious, ever-new joy, convincing to our very cells. His adequate guidance in every aspect of daily life together with the quiet, calm, accepting bubble of joy just beneath the surface of our mind is proof positive.

Swami Kriyananda in his writings, and especially in the two books, Out of the Labyrinth, and Hope for a Better World, furnishes as convincing an intellectual argument as the intellect can ever provide. Perhaps you might seek out those books, online or in paper.

Blessings to you, and go within, be still, and “Know that I AM God.”
