Peter's path to spiritual community was a long and varied one: from the East coast Ivy League school, to a Washington D.C. consultancy, to graduate school at Berkeley, and a sustainable development project in Ladakh, India.
In his travels around the world, Peter met and married a wonderful Spanish lady named Marga. Together they dreamed about starting an intentional community. Upon arriving at Ananda in the early 90's, they knew they were home.
Peter has served as the manager of the Ananda Meditation Retreat, the Expanding Light Retreat, and for the last 5 years, of Ananda Village. He and Marga have a son, Mark, who was born at Ananda.
