The Birth of Ananda 2
I perform a Vedic fire ceremony before the Sunday service at the Seclusion
Retreat in 1971. Seated behind me, left, are Jyotish and Asha. Asha, though
not mentioned in the book, is shown on the back cover cheerfully clearing
away the debris after our devastating forest fire in 1976. Directly behind
me are Seva and Jyotish's wife, Devi.
I teach a class during
a weekend program
at the Seclusion Retreat in the early 1970s.
At the Seclusion Retreat, 1970. I am singing Indian bhajans
accompanied by the Indian tanpura.
