What Is a Podcast?
It’s a new way to download MP3s. Think of it like getting a newspaper delivered rather than from a store. When you subscribe to a podcast you can automatically download new audio files to your computer when they are published online.
No iPod or MP3 player is needed to use podcasts — just a PC or a Mac! If you do have a portable MP3 player, you can use podcasts to keep it up to date with the latest Sunday Services or other programs.
How to Subscribe
-
Get a Free Podcast Program
First you need a free program like iPodder or iTunes (version 4.9 or higher). Once installed, you only need to give it the podcast address. For the Ananda Village Sunday Services this is:

Subscribe to a Podcast
With iTunes
Simply click here:
iTunes will launch and let you subscribe.
(Or, from the “Advanced” menu at top, select “Subscribe to Podcast” and paste or type the above podcast address into the window that comes up.)
iTunes will automatically download the latest service. Once it has done that, the service is ready to play. Expand the podcast subscription by clicking on the small arrow to see a list of other services you can download.
With iPodder
Click the green “plus” button and paste or type the above address into the URL field. Then hit F6 to tell iPodder to “catch-up” and download the latest service.
Once iPodder has downloaded the first talk, right click on the file and choose to play it.
