After the success
of the deeply inspiring and international Ananda gathering with
Swami Kriyananda in March of 2006 in celebration of Yogananda's
Mahasamadhi, plans are underway for a similar retreat March 2-4,
2007, in Gurgaon, India. Swamiji has again offered to lead programs
every day, assisted by Ananda teachers and musicians from America,
Europe and India.
In addition,
for the first time in India, we will be having an International
Kriyaban Retreat, March 8-11, with Swamiji and other Ananda Kriyacharyas.
The Kriyaban Retreat will include: guided First and Higher Kriya
meditations, classes on Kriya, reviews of the techniques, individual
Kriya checking, First and Higher Kriya preparation classes, and
First and Higher Kriya Initiations. First time Kriya initiates for
the First and Higher Kriya initiations are welcome to attend.
Both retreats
will be held in a community center in the pleasant and quiet neighborhood
where the Ananda ashram is located in Gurgaon. The location has
the advantage of a large building and spacious grounds all at our
disposal. We will cater meals and serve them outdoors, and use a
large indoor hall and smaller rooms, as well as enjoying the grounds.
Accommodations are available just a few minutes walk away at local
guesthouses. Deluxe hotels are a short drive away.
