It covers the life of St. Francis, with inspiring stories and insights into the beloved saint. You'll find that the St. Francis Slide Show offers inspiration, beauty, and an uplifting, meditative experience.

Paramhansa Yogananda called St. Francis of Assisi his 'patron saint'. Yogananda had at least two visions of St. Francis that he spoke of—one during a visit to Assisi in 1936, and another at Mt. Washington that inspired his beautiful poem, 'God, God, God'. Yogananda admired the renunciation and simplicity of St. Francis.

Swami Kriyananda is a direct disciple of Paramhansa Yogananda and is an internationally known author, lecturer, and composer. Widely recognized as one of the world's foremost authorities on meditation and yoga, he has taught these principles and techniques to hundreds of thousands of students around the world.

In 1969, Kriyananda founded Ananda Village in Nevada City, California, dedicated to spreading the spirit of friendship, service, and community throughout the world.
