Nayaswami Jyotish and Nayaswami Devi recently gave a program at the Multnomah Hotel, where Paramhansa Yogannada stayed in the 1920’s. They were joined by spiritual teachers from other paths, including a Sufi, rabbis, and a Christian minister. There were over 200 people in attendance.

New Ananda Meditation App

I’ve just been meditating with Nayaswami Jyotish, the Spiritual Director of Ananda. He led a prayer, played a chant, and guided us into meditation. It felt like he was actually there.

In fact, we weren’t meditating together in person but through the new free Ananda Meditation app. I was watching his meditation video, “Expand Your Consciousness,” one of the 14 already published. (We’ll be adding new meditations every couple of weeks.)

Jyotish and Devi in Portland

Nayaswami Jyotish and Nayaswami Devi are going to Portland on July 20th to do programs, including a bigger one on Friday. It will be in a hotel that Paramhansa Yogananda stayed at during his “spiritual campaigns”. They will be joined by a Rabbi, Sufi, and Christian minister. They will return to Ananda Village on July 24th.
