Today was a momentous day, as the cupola of the Mandir was installed! A crane lifted it into place while Cullen and Turiya mounted on top of the Mandir. It was a cloudy morning, but a little sun popped out just as they were finishing the installation – a little Divine Mother blessing! The cast stone wall caps were also place atop the fascia by Ryan, so most of the work on the roof in complete – just the finial on top of the small dome and final water proof layer on the roof walking surface. This is truly beautiful in spirit as well as body, but I’m wondering why the cupola is clear. Will it be lighted once the building is finished?
