- Learn the basics of an experiential approach to values based education that emphasizes observation, experience and reflection

Best practices in online teaching
These are interactive classes where your engagement and participation will co-create the class experience. Be prepared to set aside time to be fully available and present for the entire class, including video and audio. While recordings will be available, the deepest experience will be gained from live participation. Sessions can be enrolled in separately or together and require no previous experience or knowledge. Just bring your willingness and enthusiasm!
Meet Your Instructor:
Erin Vinacco is a certified Education for Life teacher and long time educator with over 12 years of adult, community and K-12 teaching experience. She has worked with various non-profits, schools and community organizations and most recently at the Living Wisdom School of Nevada City, California.
She is currently creating the Conscious Families program as a way to share the teachings of Education for Life and offer support to families during these unprecedented times. She finds joy in encouraging and guiding people of all ages and nurturing their strengths to help them achieve their highest potential in life.

Conscious Families is an online community that seeks to inspire, educate and support families in applying the principles of Education for Life through classes, digital resources, discussion groups, community forums, individual mentoring and more. We offer on-going interactive, community based support as well as individualized support to meet the unique needs of each child and family that seeks to live more consciously and awaken their highest potential.
Education for Life (EFL) is a system of holistic education that emphasizes experiential learning, spiritual development, and practical skills for living which prepare children to face life’s challenges. The goal is to develop the whole person, helping to bring out their highest potential while expanding their awareness and their ability to live in harmony with others. This system, as defined in the book by J. Donald Walters, has been in practice for over 45 years in schools and classrooms all over the world.
