The recent Islamic terrorist attacks in France stunned the world. It was the worst bloodshed on French soil since World War II. Paris is the beloved city of lights, romance, wine, baguettes, good cheese and more. It’s as though by attacking Paris the terrorists bombed that happy and romantic spot in everyone. France retaliated with air strikes. Can inner and outer peace be restored? Can we avert an ever-escalating war?
Paramhansa Yogananda said that we will have 300 years of peace after the citizens of this planet became sick of war. He said that would come after a devastating world war. Can we pray our way out of it? I hope so. Can we at least pray to mitigate and minimize it? I do truly believe we can do that.
In the time before World War II started, Edgar Cayce, the renowned psychic, gave a group reading in Denver, Colorado. People at the session were concerned with the increasing signs of impending war. During the session, which was audio-recorded, Edgar Cayce was asked if World War ll was indeed coming. In his trance state, he replied that there would be war. He also said that the world war could be averted if twenty people would pray together for peace. The room erupted in fear. “Did you hear? He said there would be war! What will we do?”
A researcher found this recording in the Edgar Cayce archives. He was astonished to hear these comments by those present in the room after Cayce’s prediction of war. No one seemed to hear that Cayce had also said the world war could be averted if twenty people would pray. They were already gripped with the fear that war would come.
