The Janaka grant to Ananda Village is being used in a number of ways.

One part is being used for attracting new and younger members through development and publicizing of opportunities for younger seekers to connect with Ananda and explore living in spiritual community.  Grant money will be spent on staff time and on advertising and marketing.

In addition, the Village will focus on training the “next wave” of resident members to take positions of responsibility within Ananda Village.

Currently these areas of focus are happening by:
– developing a summer internship program; the grant will help with communication and organization of this program

– developing training materials for people coming into existing Ananda Departments; most of this material will drawn from existing materials and making them more accessible
