A Special 2-Hour Workshop on The Energization Exercises
Recorded December 09, 2021
About the Workshop
Paramhansa Yogananda called the Energization Exercises his unique contribution to the science of yoga.
This workshop is for those who have learned the Energization Exercises already, such as Kriya Yogis and students on Ananda’s Path of Kriya Yoga. In this webinar we will:
- Revisit the key principles that govern the Energization Exercises and the numerous benefits that come from their regular practice
- Go over common mistakes that even long-time practitioners can make and how to avoid them
- Review all the Energization Exercises in detail
“I’m fairly experienced with this practice and was looking for a better understanding of a few movements. I got that and way more. It’s a detailed masterclass that went beyond my expectation and showed me where I need to improve.” — Coleen C., California
“This workshop was SUPERB and not to be missed. No matter what your level of experience with the Energization Exercises, you will find inspiration and lots of practical guidance. Sagar is a dynamic, joyful and charming teacher and he does a fantastic job of covering both the basics and the nuances of the techniques.
If you are a long-time, regular energizer, you will appreciate the discussion of the finer points and everyone can learn from his excellent guidance of the basic techniques applied to each exercise in a concise, logical way. Although there is plenty of instruction of the physical techniques, the class is filled with inspiration, guidance and reminders about the highest purpose of the practice.
I have been Energizing (and teaching Energization) for years and I have read and watched a lot of material about the EEs, so I feel well-qualified in saying that this was the best presentation I have seen.” — Nancy C., Seattle

Quotes on the Energization Exercises
Paramhansa Yogananda (Autobiography of a Yogi):
“Realizing that man’s body is like an electric battery, I reasoned that it could be recharged with energy through the direct agency of the human will. . . I therefore taught the Ranchi students my simple “Yogoda” techniques by which the life force, centred in man’s medulla oblongata, can be consciously and instantly recharged from the unlimited supply of cosmic energy.
Paramhansa Yogananda (How to Have Courage, Calmness and Confidence):
Learn the method of controlling energy. Your body is like a little bubble of energy in the cosmic sea of energy. You can contact cosmic energy and bring that energy into your body through the Energization Exercises.
Swami Kriyananda (Awaken to Supersconsciousness):
Two things are important for bringing the energy under control: awareness, and will power. The greater the will, the greater the flow of that energy. And the greater the awareness of that energy, the easier it will be for us to redirect it toward the Spiritual Eye.
Paramhansa Yogananda created a unique system, which he called “energization exercises,” to help people in attaining this energy-control. His system helps to direct energy to the body and, afterward, to withdraw it again from the body in meditation. These exercises give awareness of the energy, and, by means of that awareness, the ability to manipulate its flow in the body at will.
By practicing these exercises daily, you’ll develop exceptional ability to heal your body, and even to achieve success in your outward undertakings. You’ll find it possible to attract desired opportunities, and to draw inspiration at will.
I’ve experienced the effectiveness of these exercises many times, in little ways and in great.
