Kalamali Joy

Kalamali Joy came to Ananda Village through the karma yoga program on January 5, 2011. She first read Autobiography of a Yogi while in school in Boston, Massachusetts and knew she found the right place to study yoga when she saw Paramhansa Yogananda's picture on Ananda's website.

From there, she began the path of Kriya Yoga, became a certified Ananda Meditation teacher, and began her service in wellness and communications.

Kalamali currently works with spiritual directors Nayaswamis Jyotish and Devi on their weekly A Touch of Light letters. She also recently launched a new program with the help of her husband and friends from Ananda around the world to help medical workers in need during the pandemic called, Wellness for Warriors in Healthcare, now Be Well Solutions.

Kalamali carries a public health background and enjoys coaching one-on-one with those ready to focus on improving their lives from the inside out. She is the author of the new series, Tips for Joyful Living. This includes her popular book, The Yoga of Marketing, based on over 10 years of experience for how to best share a positive message with the world, to improve the lives of individuals of all backgrounds and personal beliefs.
