A body made of thought or ideas, rather than physical matter. Human beings have physical bodies, but causal beings, living in the causal world, have causal bodies. Only very advanced beings close to full realization have causal bodies. A causal body is very similar to an individual soul. Once a being becomes fully realized, he is no longer an individual soul, but is merged into God.
