This year’s Ananda Janaka Grants were given in early February, before the Covid-19 pandemic was announced. After that, each Ananda Community or Center had to move quickly to be able to present their 100th Anniversary events only online. In many cases this would have been much more difficult to do without the financial help that the Ananda Janaka Foundation grants provided. The grants were used mainly to upgrade equipment such as computers, lighting, cameras and software which were needed to make these online programs possible.
It was the blessing of the Ananda Janaka Foundation to be able to provide this support, through estate gifts we have received, and to see the wonderful and inspiring events that took place through these online-only versions.
