I would like to thank Arya for a well rounded series of 5 sessions on Yoga for Self Healing. Each class was well structured to incorporate benefits for the mind, body and the soul. I am continuing to do them and I am finding the benefits of the various themes in each of the session.

This fall, I thoroughly enjoyed Arya’s yoga self-healing class. Because of Arya’s thoughtfulness, the students learned yoga poses that were adapted to our level and special needs. We also practiced the Hong-Sau meditation technique and the Energization exercises, which surprised me. Thank you, Arya, for the wonderful spiritual treats.
Her pleasant, patient, and detail-oriented instructions made the course a fun and rewarding experience. I am blessed!

This was my first formal instruction in the asanas and I didn’t know what to expect. But I must say that this series was truly wonderful… a real gift to Mind, Body and Spirit. Arya is a natural teacher and explained each asana and accompanying affirmation thoroughly. Arya has a wonderfully kind and gentle demeanor. You can tell when people really understand what they are teaching and Arya’s style and careful attention to detail makes this abundantly clear. Now that the class has formally ended, I will miss looking forward to our Friday meetings!! If you have any doubts about the benefits of this class or whether you can “do it”, I would encourage you to set them aside and embark on this wonderful Self-Healing journey.

Arya’s Yoga classes are a Gift from the Divine! Her expertise and spiritual commitment guides all who attend according to their own level of need for body, mind and spirit. Due to health issues I was only able to attend two classes of this current series LIVE. However, the recordings are available to view anytime so I am deeply grateful for this offering! Ananda Yoga for Self Healing with Arya as the instructor, integrates the power of saying YES TO LIFE into all aspects of existence! I especially enjoyed the longer meditations at the end of each session in this series. This extra time allows for deeper processing of the many benefits received from the Yoga postures practiced. Thank You Arya for your continuing dedication to serving the unique needs of your students. I look forward to more classes in 2024! Many Blessings to You!

Your concept to work with a range of qualities of the Divine, as expressed through asana poses with an affiliated affirmation, provided a depth to each morning class, and to the overall series.
I found myself working with the affirmation for each quality through the ensuing week, reconnecting with your gentle and uplifting energy which came across very well online. The timing of the series was also thoughtfully chosen as it added light at a time when the days are shorter and darker earlier.

From the former reviews I would think my 5 star review would be the same. I’m 86 so I liked the fact that she will help me with the postures.

What a wonderful, soothing, powerful and calming class this has been! Many thanks for the lovely guidance on the asanas and the amazing affirmations that accompany them. This combination makes this practice incredibly powerful, strengthening, grounding and at the same time calming – a treat for the whole body and nervous system, wow! I loved the fact that each class had its own theme, like love, discipline, strength, etc. Thank you for this wonderful series of classes dear Arya!

I am not new to yoga but as I age, I am 69, it feels like I am. My body is ever changing and part of my yoga practice is to be aware and tune-in to the reality of my body that day. Arya is an excellent guide in this effort. She encourages us to be true to our own realities, she gives us options and permission to stop, modify or even not do the pose. Arya and Ananda Yoga are a very great pair! Ancient poses, confidently taught, add powerful affirmations and a class designed by a very wise teacher. I feel blessed to have found Arya and Ananda Yoga online. I look forward to the next class. Thank you Arya!

I am a beginner at yoga and have very little flexibility, as well as a cardiovascular issue. Arya was attentive to my issues, giving modifications to me and others with different issues. She also emailed me a video she created with some specific modifications, which I found very helpful. Her bright and energetic demeanor was such a blessing to experience, and the affirmations that came with each pose were an inspiration, sometimes the exact right inspiration that I needed at that moment! I highly recommend the class to anyone, even if you don’t think you can do any moves, because the inspiration that comes with the trying is so uplifting!

This Yoga class with Arya has been most helpful for Body, Mind and Spirit! Each week Arya presented a theme complete with asanas, affirmations, meditations, support and Love! The focus of every class was to keep the energy moving inward and upward toward realizing God within us!
As a senior, it is so important to work with my body as it is. Arya always demonstrated modified poses with as much enthusiasm as the regular versions so we could find our level of success in every class. She would also gently guide and instruct us when we needed adjustments. Thank You Arya for sharing your expertise and Joy of Ananda Yoga with us. I look forward to more classes in the future.

I give 5+ starts to Arya. I am a beginner and have some physical problems but I feel so joy and ease when I practice with her. She patiently explains every pose and the alternative to the students which makes me feel confident and safe. Her bright, calm, and caring Energy really light up the class. I enjoy the class every Friday morning with her. Hope she will offer another class sometime soon. I like to follow her teaching!
