When giving feedback and correction, always wait for the person to be ready. To be a good leader, develop the intuition to know when and how to share. While we don’t want to support or "hold space" for ideas we know are harmful, we need to learn to wait for the right timing and delivery for implementing course corrections. One powerful method is to connect to each person’s superconscious and ask: What do you need to hear?, and, How can I help? Take it a step at a time and know, respect, and work with the reality of those you are working with.
