In this continued letter from last time, Swamiji expounds on disciple versus the spiritual principle. A person does not become a spiritual authority just by virtue of being in proximity of a Master. He has to live and breath that principle and that's what distinguishes a true disciple from one who is mindlessly following the teachings without reflecting on them. One cannot take a Master's word in verbatim without giving it due reflection and understanding the underlying principle.
