At the age of 24, after a period of anxious soul searching, Darshan Jan Lotichius met Swami Kriyananda, who initiated him into the path of discipleship and Self-realization. Since that turning point, Darshan, who holds degrees in music and literature and is the father of two children, has continued to explore ways to integrate scientific yoga-meditation and intuitive introspection in all areas of his life. He is a minister-Lightbearer and kriyacharya and he lives at Ananda Assisi, a spiritual community in the heart of Italy, and he travels around Europe and in the United States to share the teachings of the masters of Kriya yoga through seminars and music.
