The Answer Nominations
We’re happy to say that The Answer, which is a movie about Swami Kriyananda’s life with Paramhansa Yogananda, has been nominated for awards at the Madrid International Film Festival. The nominations are: best original screenplay (by Swami Kriyananda), the Jury Award for best film (Kaveeta Oberoi Kaul), and best director (Pavan Kaul).

Ananda Washington Dedicates New Yoga Hall
On May 15th Ananda Washington dedicated a new “Yoga Hall” next to their temple in Bothell. Speakers at the event included State Senator Rosemary McAuliffe as well as the deputy mayor and city council members.

Swami Kriyananda Posthumously Receives Music Award
We’re happy to announce that Swami Kriyananda has received the bronze medal for Original Score/Sountrack for “The Answer” movie, by Global Music Awards, a top tier international music competition, whose goal it is to celebrate and honor independent musicians. A beautiful trophy with his name embossed on it is being readied.
