June 1, 2023

In this talk, Swami Kriyananda reads from Conversations with Yogananda.  Kriyananda wants to help us to remember that our true nature is essentially divine. He emphasizes the importance of following higher guidance and accepting both the positive and negative experiences that come our way with equanimity. Kriyananda shares a number of personal stories and experiences that he had with his guru Paramahansa Yogananda where he learned the importance of heeding guidance in matters both large and small. Kriyananda encourages everyone, including those that do not have a guru, to pay attention to the personal patterns and tendencies that tend to be ignored as they may hold critical lessons for spiritual development and personal growth for us.
