Guru Purnima is a day to celebrate the ‘gurus’ or teachers who guide us through our lives towards the path of enlightenment. This day especially honors the masters' presence in a disciple's life. Recorded for Ananda Delhi's online Guru Purnima Retreat, July 24th, 2021.
Nayaswami Jyotish and Nayaswami Devi travel throughout the United States, India, and Europe speaking on spiritualizing daily life and the practice of meditation with individuals of all backgrounds, ages, and races. Nayaswami Jyotish and Nayaswami Devi serve as living examples of spirituality and loving friendship. After serving closely with Swami Kriyananda for nearly 50 years, they continue to travel—and when needed, virtually, serving dynamically all over the world, as global emissaries of the yoga master Paramhansa Yogananda and his universal spiritual teachings of Self-realization.
Yogananda is most known for his widely-acclaimed spiritual classic Autobiography of a Yogi. They are co-authors of the book series Touch of Light, which is a compilation of their weekly blog. This series is available through Crystal Clarity Publishers at http://crystalclarity.com.
