Hello, my name is John, and I'm an investigative social work supervisor. I live in Pennsylvania.
When I found the Ananda Lessons in Meditation course, I thought that it would be perfect for me because my daily practice was not really where I wanted it to be. And so, I was hoping that if by taking the course, I might be able to bolster that practice. And, in fact, that's exactly what happened. This course, for me, was absolutely life-changing. And it's really led to so many good things. I'm so happy that I took it.
The instructors are wonderful, the people are full of joy, and they are really happy to share the teachings. And so that made me want to dig deeper into them.
What You Receive During the Course
And the lessons are written in a way that is very easy to understand. There are supplemental videos and audio, which really drive the point home. And then there's this whole community, which is really beautiful of like-minded souls who are taking this course. And we're able to interact through live satsangs. And we were also, you know, able to ask questions, both in class and outside of class, to our instructors. So really, it was just beautiful.
And by the time the course wrapped up, I felt like I had really gained so much, but mostly a daily practice. And there wasn't a lot of pressure to do that. It happened very gradually.

I had friends coming up to me when the course was over, saying "What's changed about you? Something’s different." My family had said they noticed a difference. I used to feel like a very negative person. But through this course and the teachings and just spending the time and meditation, I realized that the person who I used to think was me is not me, and there was something deeper behind that.
So I really encourage you to take this course. It's a beautiful opportunity to spend some time in meditation and to really get to know who you are. And so I wish you the best.
