Namaste and a warm welcome to you. In this video, I will talk a little bit about my experiences regarding the Ananda Course in Meditation and how this course has influenced my life.

I’m Maja, I'm 42 years old, and I live with my husband in Germany. I work as a social worker in (inaudible). And also I teach yoga. I came across yoga about 15 years ago. And through yoga, I got in touch with meditation.

Through my husband and also a close friend of mine, who were Kriyabans already, I got introduced to Yogananda and Ananda. Both of them recommended this course and meditation highly to me.

Last October in 2020, I started with the first course. And now, I can say I recommend this course highly, as well. Why? Because you get guided through the whole course by beautiful teachers.

Meditation Is about Withdrawing the Senses

Meditation, for me, is really to withdraw my senses from the outer world, to reconnect with my inner self, and to find peace, harmony, and calmness.

In my life, there was always a deep longing, searching for God. Through this course, I found ways to connect with God on a deeper level and to build up a closer connection to him. And I'm very thankful for that.
