The astral body (also called “energy body”) is the type of body one possesses in the astral world, where most beings go after death. It is made of prana, or life force. It is not subject to cold or heat or other natural conditions. It looks exactly like the last physical form one had in one’s youth, unless the being chooses another form. Astral bodies are not born like a physical body, but are materialized through cosmic will. (1)
