The ANANDA MUSIC ORAL HISTORY VIDEOS capture the essence of living and sharing the music of Ananda. Listen to longtime devotee musicians share their stories and remembrances of spiritual lessons learned from working on the songs and chants of Swami Kriyananda and Paramhansa Yogananda.

David debuted as a cellist with the Pittsburgh Symphony at age 16 and has since performed globally with orchestras, ensembles, the musical storytelling troupe Tales and Scales, and the international band Pink Martini. David has been playing, singing, teaching, and conducting Ananda Music since 1996, and served as Musical Director for 10 years. His discography includes Mystic Harp 2, Secrets of Love, Surrender, Relax: Meditations for Flute and Cello, Song of the Nightingale, and Ananda Cello for Crystal Clarity Publishers. David is passionate about uplifting consciousness through music and currently lives and works in Portland, Oregon.

"The sole reason for Ananda Music is to uplift consciousness."

"Swami Kriyananda taught us how to use the body as a sounding board, to engage the chakras so that as we sing we are incorporating the vibration of the heart, the expansiveness of the throat, and the joy of the spiritual eye."
