Guided Healing Prayers

Would you like to feel God’s healing presence flowing to others through your hands and heart?

These short (4-5 minute) visualizations offer guidance, based on Yogananda’s teachings, to those who wish to serve in this way. As Yogananda said, “Convert yourself into a divine battery, sending out through your hands divine healing rays whenever and wherever they may be needed.” The powerful recording of Kriyananda chanting “AUM” is often used as a background to the sessions.

As you practice the healing prayer techniques, you will find over time that your ability to serve as a channel for God’s blessings to others will grow.

Our world has an ongoing need for healing prayers, whether it be for war, famine, or the environment. The details may change, but the need does not change until we begin to live in harmony with God and each other. The prayer below can be focused on any area of particular need:

Visualize the Earth floating between your hands. It may be helpful to think of the beautiful photos of it taken from outer space. See the aura of the Earth filled with harmony and light. Gently move your hands in space over the Earth, sending divine healing light of God to all areas.

Feel Light and Divine Power flowing through you as you serve as an instrument of God’s healing grace.
