Kalamali Joy came to Ananda Village through the karma yoga program on January 5, 2011. She first read Autobiography of a Yogi while in school in Boston, Massachusetts and knew she found the right place to study yoga when she saw Paramhansa Yogananda’s picture on Ananda’s website.

From there, she began the path of Kriya Yoga, became a certified Ananda Meditation teacher, and began her service in wellness and communications.
