Answer

Dear Shailesh,

One of the most important things you can do to develop intuition is to develop a meditation practice. Yogananda said that in the stillness one experiences after practicing the meditation techniques, intuition is developed.

If you’d like to know more about meditation, you can find everything you need on this site to start a practice.

Another great aid is the book Intuition for Starters by Swami Kriyananda. You can order it online by clinking this link. The book explains the process of drawing intuition so excellently that i can’t really sum it up.

But just a few thoughts: When you want to draw an intuitive answer, first practice meditation. When you feel your energy somewhat focused at the spiritual eye, lift your question there. Hold the question at the spiritual eye (point between the eyebrows). Then listen in your heart center for an answer.

The book will give you a much deeper explanation, but this might get you started.

In divine friendship,

Anandi
