Tuning in after Hong-Sau

Question

Hello everyone! My doubt is regarding Hong Sau. I feel very clear and peaceful while doing Hong Sau, but when I end it and move to concentrate on the spiritual eye and forget Hong Sau, as the procedure in the site, I lose that peace and seemingly concentrate with an empty feeling without that joy. Is that normal or am I doing it wrong due to selfish desires for meditation benefits? I remember Master’s saying to meditate for God. :D

Answer

Dear Kailash,

My suggestion is that after you end your Hong-Sau practice, rather than holding any expectations, simply try to offer yourself into whatever experience you are feeling, i.e. devotion in your heart, or inner peace, or of deepening calmness. Try to feel a sense of inner absorption. If you are not able to feel any inner experience, then use a simple visualization or a mental chant to connect more inwardly. You can also mentally pray to God, or Divine Mother, or Yogananda to guide you within.

Blessings on your spiritual journey,
Nayaswami Pranaba
