How to Know If a Situation is a Beginning of a Karma, or the End of a Karma?

Question

How to know if a situation is a beginning of a karma, or the end of a karma? If something happens, can we determine if it’s the end of a karma, which we did in the past? Or If something happens to us, will we do the same thing to that person in the future and keep continuing it, or is it the beginning of new karma?

Answer

Dear Saksham,

Karma is a highy complex situation, like an intricate web made of countless strings, big and small. If something happens to you, it might be a small karma just being dissolved in that way (the karmic law has been satisfied and the karma is gone): it’s the end of that karma.

Or it might be a karmic storm just now arising in your life, lasting for a long time.

Only a Master can know. A good astrologer can tell you too what is happening, at least up to a certain point.

A wrong thought, however, is this one of yours: “Will we do the same thing to that person in the future and keep continuing it?” Remember that you have free will. A karma can push you to behave in a certain way, but not force you. You are free. You can decide.

Another thought: there are ways to protect you from karma that comes back to you. The main one used on this path is an astrological bangle. It is like a “karmic umbrella”. If it intsrests you, please contact an Ananda center.

God bless you,
