I believe my twin sister and I have a soul connection although we are not identical. She is RH negative I am positive. We were born an hour apart with different rising signs. However our Final Scholarship results added to identical results, each subject had different percentages. Our retirement funds held equal sums to the dollar after different lives in different towns. Did we come from a split soul, mirror twins, one negative, one positive. I discovered our companion dogs are the same breed.

This is quite “fun” and so unusual. The concept of soul-mate, twin half souls, is an ancient one. Most people think of this romantically, but Paramhansa Yogananda said it’s between souls, not bodies. (Souls are non-binary!) Of course, in having a body, the combination can be just about anything, including a marriage, but if so, that would be secondary.
Nonetheless, the interesting facts you cite relate more to this world than to the world of the soul. Indicators, yes, but soul-mates share an attraction that is deeper than the outer forms that surround human life. Between true soul-mates, there would be a compatibility of energy, joy, and consciousness; one not necessarily dependent upon physical proximity, but one that runs very deep in consciousness that each finds inexplicably satisfying.
In any case, this is most unusual and certainly worth exploring – even now, later in life. Your connection is obviously deeply karmic, regardless of any question of soul-mates. This karma could also be the unusual residue of having been identical twins in a past (presumably quite recent) life.
I would have you engage in a soul-searching exploration of spiritual qualities (not so much shared physical facts). This can be done in meditation, in reflection, and in exploration together if both of you are open to that. You might even go on retreat together sometime and explore more deeply your soul-bonds!
