I started my third eye meditation a few days ago. At first I saw a circular tunnel with a violet light. At present I am seeing a tunnel with blue light and am feeling very happy and calm, but sometimes frequent thoughts are coming into my mind, which are disturbing. How to concentrate fully on the third eye without any thoughts? What happens when I open my third eye completely? Also, I’m facing one problem: I am unable to see my smartphone and laptop display for a longer time. Why?

Dear Rahul,
What is happening to you is a real grace. Please give it all the appreciation and attention possible. Often when people start to meditate in fact, they receive some special grace and are given some special experiences. This is happening to you right now. It’s something we could call “beginner’s grace.” Feel yourself blessed.
The violet and blue colors are indeed the colors of the spiritual eye. Look intently toward the center of it, without any tension. Don’t lose that calmness.
The restless mind is a problem for everyone, as it is the nature and habit of the mind to think constantly. The only thing we can do is to train our concentration: each time the mind wanders, patiently and calmly bring it back to focus.
When you open your spiritual eye completely, what will will happen? Yogananda teaches in his Autobiography of a Yogi: “Long concentration on the liberating spiritual eye has enabled the yogi to destroy all delusions concerning matter and its gravitational weight; thenceforth he sees the universe as an essentially undifferentiated mass of light.”
You will see the world as God’s light: an illusion only. Everything is light. Everything is God. Nothing else exists. The spiritual eye, that tunnel you are seeing, will take you into that Eternal Light, and you will finally become one with it: “I am That.” These are the highest states.
Why can’t you see your smartphone and laptop display for longer? I don’t know. Maybe your eyes which have seen the spiritual light are now unwilling to absorb these restless colors for too long.
